Many people in the world wear a uniform of some kind when they go to work. The wearing of a uniform is something that identifies who you are, where you work and can tell others the kind of person you are.

At Ordsall Primary School we play, learn and grow together everyday and the uniform we wear is there to identify us and the pride we feel in being at Ordsall. Our uniform is there to make sure we are appropriately dressed, safe and ready to work. Wear yours with pride and be proud to be Ordsall! 

The uniform policy for our school has been created so that it can be purchased from many different retailers, including charity and second hand providers, so that it gives value for money for parents and carers and it is readily available. The uniform does not need to have the school's logo on and many of the items that are available with a logo are an optional choice.

The required items of school uniform are:

          A white polo shirt (with or without school logo);

          A red sweatshirt or cardigan (with or without school logo);

          Dark coloured trousers, shorts or skirt; and

          Dark coloured shoes.

During the warmer months red checked/gingham summer dresses, which are available to purchase from many retailers, may also be worn but this is not a requirement.

The required items of school uniform for PE Kit on PE Days are: 

   Plain white t-shirt (with or without school logo). 

   Black, Blue or Grey tracksuit Bottoms or shorts

   Black, Blue or Grey Sweatshirt or Hoodie (no teamwear or tops with large lettering)

   Socks and Trainers

Jewellery

At Ordsall Primary School, for health and safety reasons, we use the "rule of one". This means that children may wear 1 pair of stud earrings, 1 ring and 1 item around the wrist. All jewellery should be removed for PE including, if children have pierced ears, their earrings must be removed by the child or parent/carer.

If you wish to purchase uniform we now use Irontree Designs in Retford. You can purchase with or without the school logo and you can also take items purchased elsewhere into the shop to have the logo embroidered on.  Click here to see the range available.
