Good Level of Development Outcomes

The Good Level of Development (GLD) is a performance measure used at the end of Reception. These are the GLD outcomes for children at Ordsall compared to the available local and National Averages.

The information below is a graphical representation of the children's outcomes at the end of Reception for 2022.

The table below provides information on the achievements of eligible pupils (typically 5 year olds). In 2020 and again in 2021, following Covid-19 and official tests being cancelled, schools were able to make and submit voluntary assessments at Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFSP). With the assessment process mirroring the procedures of 2019 Ordsall Primary School submitted their data their data based on the assessments of children that had been made. The averages indicated in these years have been calculated from the Bassetlaw and Nottinghamshire Schools who submitted their data. With the return of testing in 2021 and 2022 the averages and outcomes have been provided at a local and National level.

Year 1 Phonics Outcomes

The Phonics Screening Check is used at Ordsall Primary School to show how well your child can use the phonics skills they've learned up to the end of Year 1, and to identify students who need extra phonics help as they move into Year 2. The Department for Education defines the checks as “short, light-touch assessments” that take about four to nine minutes to complete. These are the outcomes of the Phonics Screening at Ordsall Primary School:

In 2020 and in 2021, as a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic, schools in Nottinghamshire were given the option to submit their data. Ordsall Primary School chose to submit their data based on the assessments of children that had been made using the advice from Nottinghamshire County Council to follow the AAiA (Association for Achievement and Improvement through Assessment principles on assessment. These outcomes were moderated both internally and with other schools across the LA.

In this current academic year schools do not need to publish their key stage 2 results for the academic year 2021 to 2022 on their websites, as the Secretary of State will not publish this data. The most recent outcomes and measures published are from the academic year 2018-2019 and these have now been archived as the data no longer reflects current performance.

Please click on school and college performance measures website to search for schools, colleges and multi-academy trusts in England and check their performance.
