Young Voices

It's been a busy week here at Ordsall Primary School.   Many enrichment opportunities and experiences have taken place as we continue to Play, Learn and Grow...Together.  Our school choir attended the Young Voices Concert at Sheffield Arena.  This was a fantastic experience for everyone involved, the atmosphere was electric, and the children were simply amazing!

Nursery had a visit from the Police this week, as they found out more about 'People who help us'.  Trying on uniforms, meeting police officers and hearing the very loud siren were all part of the day!

The WonderDome has also been in school this week, as Year 5 continued their learning about Space.

As we come to the end of the month, we say goodbye to Mrs Jones and Mr Soysa, who are both moving onto to a new chapter.  We would like to thank them both for their many years of hard work and dedication they have shown to our school, families and community.

Congratulations to all of our Stars of the Week for proudly displaying our RESPECT values: Resilience, Effort, Support, Passion, Enrichment, Compassion and Teamwork.

Finally, congratulations to our attendance champions this week: Constable Class topped Phases 1 and 2 with a brilliant 99.3% attendance, and Johnstone Class led the way in Phase 3, also with 100%.
