Our final week of the Autumn Term was full of festive fun. Year 6 also celebrated their DAaRT graduation, after successfully completing their work this term. 

We also celebrated our Attendance Raffle winners who won a book voucher for Wonderland Bookshop.  We also announced that the summer raffle prize will be an iPad! 

Touring theatre company, Quantam Theatre, treated us all to the Christmas Show – The Snow Queen.  The children really enjoyed the show, especially the audience participation!

Thursday was Christmas Dinner day. The hall was bustling with excitement, the music was playing, and a fabulous dinner was eaten.  There was even a surprise visit from Father Christmas!  

On Thursday evening,  the choir was invited to sing at the Christmas House in Ordsall.  The children were fantastic – well done everyone! We finished the week with Party Day!  Wonderful outfits, dancing, games and lots of fun could be found throughout school.  

Finally, congratulations to our attendance champions this week: Mondrian Class topped Phases 1 and 2 with a brilliant 95.9% attendance, and Warhol Class led the way in Phase 3, also with 98.1%.

We would like to wish all of our families a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.  School will re-open for all children on Monday 5th January 2026.
