It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

The start of Christmas has officially begun at Ordsall this week. On Monday, everyone wore their Christmas jumpers as we marked the start of advent. Thank you to everyone who donated a hamper prize, these are all being put together and raffle tickets will be on sale from Monday. We shall be wearing our jumpers again next Thursday, 11th December, as we support Save the Children.
Year 4 held their Christingle Service on Thursday. We had a sold-out audience! Thank you for attending and supporting the children. Rev. Alex Shields from All Hallows Church joined us for the service and spoke about upcoming events at the church.
On Friday, some children took part in a tag rugby festival at Hill House, Doncaster. The children played well, and we were all very proud of their efforts.
Congratulations to all of our Stars of the Week for proudly displaying our RESPECT values: Resilience, Effort, Support, Passion, Enrichment, Compassion and Teamwork.
Finally, congratulations to our attendance champions this week: Hepworth Class topped Phases 1 and 2 with a brilliant 96.7% attendance, and O'Keeffe Class led the way in Phase 3, also with 97.3%.
