Play, Learn and Grow Together!

We are in October and already halfway through the Autumn 1 half-term.  As we prepare for winter, many children had their flu vaccines in school this week.

Year 1 had a visit from Playwell Corner, the Lego Café which is situated in Retford.  The children learnt about the history of Lego and were challenged to create a house, an animal and the tallest tower.

Year 3 held their Stone Age Experience Day, where they explored some resources, made their own salt dough arrowheads and built their own Stonehenge!

Congratulations to our Year 6 Sports Leaders. They will support the children in Phase 2 during break times and will be involved with many sporting events throughout the year.

Thank you to everyone who has brought items in for our Harvest Collection in aid of the Bassetlaw Food Bank. We will continue to collect donations until Friday 10th October.

SCHOOL PHOTO DAY – Please remember it is Individual School Photos on Thursday 9th October.

Congratulations to all of our Stars of the Week for proudly displaying our RESPECT values: Resilience, Effort, Support, Passion, Enrichment, Compassion and Teamwork.

Finally, congratulations to our attendance champions this week: Degas Class topped Phases 1 and 2 with a brilliant 98.5% attendance, and Monet Class led the way in Phase 3, also with 98.5%.
