Our new School Councillors held their first meeting this week.  It was fantastic to hear their ideas and suggestions for the academic year ahead.  They also received their badges today, which they will wear with pride!

We also launched our Charity of the Year and are proud to announce that this will be ‘BLISS – for babies born premature and sick’.  We shall be fundraising for this amazing charity alongside all of our other annual fundraising too.  Our first fundraising event this year is for World Mental Health Day, where we will be wearing yellow to raise awareness – more details will follow in the next couple of weeks.

Year 4 had a visit from Jungle Jo this week.  They are learning about living things and their habitats. This was a fantastic first-hand experience which both children and staff thoroughly enjoyed. 

Congratulations to all of our Stars of the Week for proudly displaying our RESPECT values: Resilience, Effort, Support, Passion, Enrichment, Compassion and Teamwork.

Finally, congratulations to our attendance champions this week: Mondrian Class topped Phases 1 and 2 with a brilliant 100% attendance, and Monet Class led the way in Phase 3 also with 100%.
