What a busy week it has been at Ordsall Primary.  A week full of rewards and celebrations as we approach the end of the academic year.

We started the week with our Summer Disco on Monday. Everyone who attended had a brilliant time and there were some fabulous dance moves!!  This was followed on Tuesday by our Year 6 Leavers disco.  The red carpet was out as we celebrated our Year 6 children and all that they achieved during their primary school years. We look forward to seeing our Year 6 parents and carers on Friday 25^th July for the Leavers Assembly.

This week, Phase 3 was treated to a performance by the children who are learning to play stringed instruments.  Huge congratulations to those children who performed and showcased what they have been learning.

This week we also completed the majority of our House Team Points rewards!  These included sports activities, a magician and a movie afternoon with snacks!

On Wednesday, those children who had successfully received 9 or 10 house point certificates were treated to a meal out at Rondo’s Lounge in town. The week finished with our annual SPLASH PARTY for all those children who have been awarded one certificate over the year.   

During assembly this week, a raffle was made for the end of year prize. For each full week of attendance, the children get a raffle ticket into the draw. The more weeks you are here, the more tickets you have in the draw and the more chances you have to win.  Both winners have 100% attendance for this academic school year, and they will receive their prize in assembly next week.                        

Finally, congratulations to our attendance champions this week: Turner Class topped Phases 1 and 2 with a brilliant 98.2% attendance, and Johnstone Class led the way in Phase 3 with 97.7%.
