Happy Easter!

The final week of the Spring Term has been an exceptionally busy one, full of Easter activities and celebrations. We started the week with an afternoon of Easter crafting in Year 1. It was lovely to see so many parents and carers in school, working alongside their children to craft and create. Thank you for joining us.
Tuesday, we had Year 5’s Easter Performance, and what a performance it was! The children sang beautifully, played a variety of instruments and shared amazing facts and knowledge about Easter and how it all began. Thank you again to everyone who came to watch and support our children. Reverend Alex joined us from All Hallows Church and spoke about events coming up over Easter at the church.
The children in Reception Classes took part in a colouring competition, organised by local business, E Hurton and Son. The company donated prizes for the winners and all the children who took part received a small Easter gift. We also held our annual Egg Fun Days this week. The children all had great fun.
Congratulations to our Attendance Raffle Winners, who have all won a book token. All tickets in the draw will now roll over to our summer draw to win an Ipad.
Congratulations to all of our Stars of the Week for proudly displaying our RESPECT values: Resilience, Effort, Support, Passion, Enrichment, Compassion and Teamwork.
Finally, congratulations to our attendance champions this week: Mondrian Class topped Phases 1 and 2 with a brilliant 98.2% attendance, and O'Keeffe Class led the way in Phase 3, with 97.3%.
We would like to wish all our families and staff a wonderful and safe Easter holidays. We look forward to seeing you all on Monday 13th April, when school re-opens for the start of the Summer Term.
