Spring Term 2 Begins

It's been great having everyone back at school as we begin our Spring Term 2. There has been lots going on throughout school,
Year 2 had a fabulous visit from White Post Farm. The children got to handle many of the animals, including mice, rabbits, guinea pigs, a lizard and a corn snake. The children also learnt many facts about each animal, including what they like to eat and the habitat they live in. What a wonderful hands-on experience!
Over in Nursery, their topic this half-term is Celebrations. To start the topic off, they have been learning all about the Lunar New Year. Completing activities, trying on traditional outfits and eating delicious Chinese food.
Congratulations to all of our Stars of the Week for proudly displaying our RESPECT values: Resilience, Effort, Support, Passion, Enrichment, Compassion and Teamwork.
Finally, congratulations to our attendance champions this week: Turner Class topped Phases 1 and 2 with a brilliant 96.9% attendance, and Monet Class led the way in Phase 3, also with 99.3%.
