Viking Invasion

It's been a week full of first-hand and immersive experiences. Year 5 held their Viking Day on Wednesday, where they took part in activities such as braiding, tug of war, learning about the Saga of Bjorn and enjoying a Viking Feast!
Nursery had a visit from guide dogs Chloe and Lucky, who were accompanied by their owners, Sue and Alan. The children found out all about guide dogs and how they help people. They especially enjoyed having the opportunity to stroke the dogs.
Thank you to B&Q at Doncaster, who have kindly donated bird seed to our school. We can't wait to start making bird feeders!
Congratulations to all of our Stars of the Week for proudly displaying our RESPECT values: Resilience, Effort, Support, Passion, Enrichment, Compassion and Teamwork.
Finally, congratulations to our attendance champions this week: Degas Class topped Phases 1 and 2 with a brilliant 96% attendance, and Warhol Class led the way in Phase 3, also with 97.8%.
