The Autumn Term begins...

It’s been a busy week at school, as the children settle into their new year groups.

Year 3 have created some wonderful cave paintings as part of their Stone Age work. These are proudly on display in school.

Some of our newly elected School Councillors were invited to Ordsall Churchyard to take part in a Remembrance project at All Hallows Church to commemorate the WW1 and WW2 soldiers in preparation for Retford Heritage Open Day on Saturday 13th September.  There are many events taking place on Saturday for Heritage Day in Retford with lots of opportunities to explore the history of our town.

Congratulations to all of our Stars of the Week for proudly displaying our RESPECT values: Resilience, Effort, Support, Passion, Enrichment, Compassion and Teamwork.

Finally, congratulations to our attendance champions this week: Degas Class topped Phases 1 and 2 with a brilliant 100% attendance, and Cliff Class led the way in Phase 3 with 99.4%.
