Welcome to the summer term!

Welcome back to the start of the summer term! We hope everyone had a restful and rejuvenating Easter break, and we are now excited to embark on another action-packed term here at Ordsall Primary School.

This week, we are delighted to celebrate our Stars of the Week - children who have shown outstanding dedication to our school's RESPECT values. Congratulations to all our winners! Your hard work and positive attitude are truly appreciated by both staff and peers.

In sports news, our Phase 3 children participated in a Boccia competition today. Although they did not win, they showed great sportsmanship and competed with fantastic effort. We are incredibly proud of how they represented Ordsall Primary School with such enthusiasm and teamwork.

Over in Phase 1, it has been a week full of excitement! We were thrilled to have a special visit from Mason, a former pupil, who brought along his adorable chicks for the children to meet. It was a wonderful experience, with the children enjoying the chance to hold and stroke the chicks - an experience they won’t soon forget!

Meanwhile, in Phase 2, the Great Victorian Bake Off is in full swing! Mackintosh Class has been busy baking their very own Victoria sponges, tying this hands-on activity into their history topic about the Victorians. It’s a delicious way to bring history to life, and we can't wait to see what the final products look like!

It's shaping up to be another fantastic term, and we are looking forward to all the exciting learning and activities that lie ahead. Let’s make this summer term a memorable one!
