We’ve come to the end of our first half-term of the 2026-2027 academic year. It’s been a brilliant half-term, with all the children playing, learning and growing together.  Last week, we joined Young Minds to acknowledge World Mental Health Day and support the great work that they do.  We all wore yellow and raised an amazing £336.00 for the charity.

Today, our Year 4 and Year 5 School Councillors visited All Hallows Church to identify war graves of fallen soldiers.  We were also joined by local Armed Forces Veterans and local dignitaries. It is always an honour to attend such events of remembrance and thanks.

Thank you also to everyone who donated to our Bassetlaw Food Bank Harvest collection.  Our donations were delivered today and were well received by the staff.

Congratulations to all of our Stars of the Week for proudly displaying our RESPECT values: Resilience, Effort, Support, Passion, Enrichment, Compassion and Teamwork.

A huge well done and congratulations to those children who have achieved a brick on the Wall of Success.  Keep up the great work!

Finally, congratulations to our attendance champions this week: Hepworth Class topped Phases 1 and 2 with a brilliant 99% attendance, and Mackintosh Class led the way in Phase 3, with 99.6%.
