It’s been a busy final week of the half-term.  Year 5 had a visit from some Amazon Animals.  This was a very hands-on experience, as the children got to hold the animals alongside finding out wonderful facts about each animal.

On Wednesday, four children represented the After-School Art Club at the Rotary Club Arts Competition.  This was held at The Grove Methodist Church & Centre, and the children were awarded 1^st, 2^nd and highly commended certificates.  Well done to everyone who had artwork entered into the competition.

We had a fantastic Boogie for BLISS today!  There have been children dancing all day, as we raised money for the fantastic charity BLISS.  Thank you to everyone who has already brought their sponsorship money in.  Once we have a final total raised, we shall share this.

Congratulations to all of our Stars of the Week for proudly displaying our RESPECT values: Resilience, Effort, Support, Passion, Enrichment, Compassion and Teamwork.

Finally, congratulations to our attendance champions this week: Turner Class topped Phases 1 and 2 with a brilliant 100% attendance, and Warhol Class led the way in Phase 3, with 100%.
